In September 2012, Good Will Instruments launched the GW Instek GSP-730.
Features and USP: This is a 3 GHz spectrum analyser developed mainly to fulfill the demands of RF communication education. Budget constraints and lack of teaching tools are the two hurdles that prevent colleges from providing good courses for RF communication experiments. The GSP-730 has measurement functions that include autoset, split window, limit line, ACPR and OCBW. These enable advanced studies involving mobile communications (GSM, 3G, 4G/LTE), Wi-Fi, Zigbee and RFID. The GRF-1300 comes as an optional accessory of GSP-730 (trainer for basic RF communication experiments). It enables generation of a baseband signal and an RF carrier signal for the built-in AM and FM communication operations. It is properly integrated with components like the GRF-1300 trainer and a PC which becomes an efficient system that performs on the fly experiments while lectures are being given. This system comes with a one year warranty.
