Solar micro inverter

In December 2013, Vasavi Electronics launched a solar micro inverter called the VE250 for solar applications. The product is designed with innovative concepts to nullify the losses and extract maximum power possible. It has a very high efficiency of up to 96 per cent and extracts 25 per cent more power compared to convectional inverters. This water-proof micro inverter can be fixed behind the solar panel to reduce cable losses and can be easily installed based on the plug-and-play concept. In conventional inverters, if one of the panels is not working, the whole system stops working but with this inverter, the rest of the panels will continue to deliver the power. It ensures a THD of <5 per cent.
