In July 2014, Meco launched a multifunction power and energy monitor, the MFM-96S. It is microcontroller-based with the MODBUS RTU protocol and has been indigenously designed, tooled and manufactured by MECO’s R&D department. The monitor is also competitively priced. It eliminates the need to use a conventional panel with 10 different meters. It saves more then 50 per cent on the cost of a panel (as it reduces panel size drastically)—one MFM-96S has 10 parameters and very little wiring.
It is built with four rows, and bright red LED displays with 4-digit and 8-digit resolution. It has an inbuilt memory to store CTR, PTR, address and passwords. It also has an energy reset facility.
