In June 2014, Contrinex Automation Pvt Ltd launched miniature diffuse sensors, with lateral light emission and a cylindrical light beam, which are extremely small in size: 5x7mm, length 40mm. Its key features include; cylindrical light beam of Ø<4mm, a version with a calibrated operating distance between 20mm and 25mm, and a version with a long operating distance of 50mm. The housing is made up of stainless steel and is short circuit proof. The sensors are fully vacuum potted. The optical parts are made up of sapphire, which is scratch resistant and easy to clean. The sensors do not require an amplifier.
