LED bulbs

led_basedbulbsIn September 2013, Modern Solar Technologies launched a series of LED-based bulbs and lighting solutions, called UFLs or user friendly lights. The latest in the series are chip LED based 3W, 5W and 7W bulbs. These have an innovative metallic body and shell design that serve as a heat sink and diffuser, respectively, doing away with the need for a separate heat sink. The lights operate in a wide range of voltages, from 100-280 V, and are estimated to save 50-60 per cent energy compared to CFL bulbs.
