2-pin LED light
In April 2013, Sanjay Electronics introduced a highly-efficient G-24 2-pin LED, which is a substitute for G-24 CFL, under the brand name HP LED Lighting for conventional CFL down lights in different wattages (9 W/11 W/13 W) with an Osram 5050 SMD LED chip and a power factor correcting in-built driver. According to the company, the LED light consumes less power and has a longer life than a 4-pin-based conventional CFL. The light can be used in offices, administrative areas in factories, hotels, etc.

1W high-power LED light
In June 2013, Everlight Electronics Co Ltd launched a top-view white 1W high power LED light called the XI3535. This highly cost-effective package provides high lumens and efficacy, and is well suited for use in lighting grade high power LED designs such as omni-directional LED light bulbs, directional lamps, decorative lamps, panel lights, and many other general and residential lighting applications.
The package material of the XI3535 is competitively priced and thermally efficient, allowing the LED to be driven at a higher current for more lumens while maintaining a good service life time. A high-reliability housing brings a low thermal resistance of 15°C/W and other superior quality characteristics.

4-step dimming LED drivers
In June 2013, GlacialPower launched six new constant current GlacialPower step dimming GP-LP060P LED drivers. The six drivers cover the entire DC output range of 12 V to 57 VDC and deliver up to 60 W of power to the LED. The step dimming function for constant current can be conveniently controlled through the AC power switch. There are four different dimming levels, which can be controlled by switching the light on and off within one second. The drivers have a power conversion efficiency rate of up to 86 per cent, which makes them highly energy-efficient. The AC input range of the drivers is from 90 to 305 VAC, and the DC input of the drivers ranges from 127 to 430 VDC, making the drivers an ideal option for practically all environments.
