In March 2014, Embuilt Technologies launched GML-3, a class 0.2 GPRS-based meter and logger for three-phase electricity. GML-3 acts both as a meter and a mobile with GPRS connectivity to the cloud server based in India. Whenever users turn on their computers/mobiles, they can view all the historical data stored on the server, graphically. It monitors temperature and humidity, and offers 4-20mA channels as an optional feature for cold storage chains and environment monitoring. It comes with a feature that sends out SMS alarms and data notifications, which has application in a wide range of industries. It is a useful tool for energy auditors, energy management systems, cold chain monitoring and critical machine monitoring.
