In February 2014, Axis Communications launched its compact AXIS M1145-L and AXIS M1145 fixed network cameras for high definition day-and-night indoor video surveillance, which offer clear identification. Both the cameras feature full HDTV 1080p resolution and the highly efficient H.264 video compression standard. The AXIS M1145-L is equipped with built-in adjustable IR LED illumination allowing for discreet day-and-night surveillance. These cameras are ideally suited for professional video surveillance applications in retail stores, boutiques, restaurants, hotels and offices. Its other features include support for Edge storage with a built-in microSD/SDHC memory card slot, a pixel counter, axis corridor format, power over Ethernet (IEEE 802.3af) and an I/O port for PIR sensor options.
