In July 2014, Mornsun launched the LH (05-25)-13Bxx series of AC/DC converters that feature 3kV AC isolation with high EMC performance and reliability. The input ranges between 85V AC and 305V AC (120V DC to 430V DC) with 87 per cent peak efficiency, which is especially suitable in situations where voltage fluctuations range far outside normal tolerances. A wide temperature range from -40°C to 70°C enables the converters to endure extremely cold temperatures. The converters offer protection against short circuits, over current and over voltage, and meet the IEC60950, EN60950 as well as UL60950 standards. They can be widely used in industrial controls, instrumentation, meters, electric power systems and most industrial applications.
