Linxens Strengthens Its IoT Activities To Offer Clients A One-Stop Shop

Linxens, a French player in the global electronics industry specializing in the design and manufacture of micro-connectors, RFID antennas and biosensors, is extending the scope of its activities in connected objects to provide its customers with a complete offer, from the design of the electronic component to the integration of the digital technology. To this end, the company announces the recruitment of the team from former startup Yesitis.

Preserving French know-how

Yesitis was a French start-up specializing in the digital transformation of companies, offering connected solutions to support them. While preserving the jobs of the 23 employees who made up the Yesitis design office, Linxens is giving new impetus to its projects and adding new digital expertise.

Employees hired by Linxens remain based at their Clermont-Ferrand premises.

“Linxens and Yesitis are long-standing partners, and I’m certain that the integration of our teams will enable us to carry out a number of projects already identified, while contributing to Linxens’ transformation,” explains Laurent Coussonnet, CEO and co-founder of Yesitis.

An ambitious project to open up new market opportunities

For Linxens, this is an opportunity to expand its business in the field of connected objects, offering customers complete solutions including the design and manufacture of the technological solution, as well as the development and integration of the program directly into the solution.

The management of these new activities has been entrusted to Quentin Pretet, previously in charge of Group Strategy and Purchasing, who has been appointed VP IoT Activities.

“We welcome the Yesitis teams to the group; their expertise will be crucial in accelerating the development of IoT activities at Linxens. I’m convinced that together, we’ll be able to bring innovative solutions to the market”, says Quentin Pretet.

“Our ambition is to provide our customers with the most comprehensive support and offering possible. With this new team, we are in a better position than ever not only to offer components tailored to our customers’ needs, but above all to position ourselves with them as a solution provider for their IoT projects,” enthuses Cuong H. Duong, CEO of Linxens.

Linxens’ strategy of diversifying into the connected healthcare and IoT markets involves strengthening its teams with new skills and expertise. 300 new employees are expected to be recruited worldwide this year, including around 50 in France.
