Lahari Advanced Electronics Testing Facility “Lahari”, a pioneering initiative supported by the Government of India, the Government of Karnataka, and esteemed members of the Electronics System Design and Manufacturing (ESDM) cluster, proudly announces a strategic partnership with Nemko India. This collaboration, marked by an innovative public-private partnership, is poised to propel Lahari into a position of global prominence in the electronics testing and certification industry.

A Driving Force for Industry Advancement: A Benchmark Model Facility:

The mandate from the GOI and GOK s to make Indian electronics design and manufacturing industries and start-ups to build quality and regulatory compliance to increase exports from India and reduce the forex outflow from Electronics by at least 35% by 2028.
Lahari has created a comprehensive test facility that houses test labs, repair centres, EMI,
EMC, reliability study consultancy, electronics boards and systems manufacturing support,
facility for the users to stay in house and complete the tests in one go thereby reducing the
certification time from the current 12 to 18 months to less than 6 months. Start-ups will be
supported at highly subsidised rates and deferred payments to reduce their regulatory
burden.

Covering 45,000 sq. ft. and holding ISO17025 accreditation, Lahari’s expansive facility is
equipped with cutting-edge testing capabilities, including the EMI/EMC, Reliability &
Environmental testing Lab, and a dedicated component testing lab. Lahari ensures that
products undergo rigorous testing in accordance with both national and international quality standards.
