Online filing of registration requests gaining popularity

Saturday, August 03, 2013: DeitY has set up a portal (www. www.electronicstds.gov.in) for filing online applications under the “Electronics and IT Goods (Requirement of Compulsory Registration) Order, 2012”.

Several users have preferred making the use of this online portal to make applications under the order. So far, 79 users have been authenticated and over 100 applications have also been filed online for registration with BIS.
