This round, prominently led by the Japanese corporation ENEOS, signifies a major achievement for Zypp. The Series C1 portion of the funding includes USD 15 million in equity, forming part of a larger USD 50 million financing round, which is split into USD 40 million of equity and USD 10 million of debt.
Several key investors have actively participated in this round, including ENEOS, 9unicorns, IAN Fund, Venture Catalysts, WFC, and others. The funds obtained are set to significantly bolster Zypp’s capabilities, specifically aiming to scale the company’s fleet from 21,000 to 200,000 electric scooters and expand its service reach to 15 cities across India by the year 2026.
