Xiaomi claims that not only consumers will be able to see their global products line-up but the Mi experience zone will also allow an opportunity to experience them right here in India

Xiaomi, the China based smartphones, LED TVs, fitness bands and other electronic appliances manufacturer has announced the opening of Mi Home Store in Bengaluru. The company is claiming it to be the largest Mi Home in India. Bengaluru is also Xiaomi’s headquarter in the country.

The company on Twitter posted, “Our biggest ever Mi Home in India, and one of the biggest in the world is coming in Indiranagar, Bangalore. With modern architectural design and futuristic concept, this is also our most futuristic Mi Home store yet.”

Xiaomi earlier this year, had expressed its plans of opening 100 Mi Home stores in India by the end of this year.

Mi products showcased

The Bengaluru Mi Home Store will showcase all the electronic products manufactured by Xiaomi. Apart from Mi smartphones, LED TVs, fitness bands and Mi’s range of smart home products, the Mi Store will also showcase products that are available in other markets but not in India, giving consumers an insight into Xiaomi’s products that the company might introduce in the Indian markets.

Xiaomi claims that not only consumers will be able to see their global product line-up but the Mi experience zone will also allow an opportunity to experience them right here in India.

Xiaomi said, “It houses the largest experience zone, with over 200 global products like Mi Robot, Mi Smart Washing Machine and Mi Smart Projector 150 for you to experience all of Xiaomi and share the next product to bring to India.”

Some of Mi products that are sold in international markets but are not available in India include Mi Robot vacuum, Mi Smart Projector 150 and Mi Smart Washing Machine.

Based on consumer reactions on global products that are not yet available in India, the Mi Home Store may also give Xiaomi an upper hand in planning product launches in India.

Xiaomi’s focus on South India

The opening of Mi’s largest Home store in Bengaluru, India is another reminder of Xiaomi’s focus on the southern India. Xiaomi also has its largest LED TV manufacturing plant in Tirupati, located just 250 KMs away from Bengaluru.

Two out of six Xiaomi smartphone manufacturing plants are also located in southern India.
