West Bengal proposes two greenfield EMCs near Kolkata

The government of West Bengal has identified land to establish two greenfield electronic manufacturing clusters (EMCs), one at Naibati and the other at Falta. The Naihati land measures approximately 70 acres and is about 35km from Kolkata. The Falta land measures approximately 42 acres and is about 58km from Kolkata. The West Bengal Electronics Industry Development Corporation Ltd (WBEIDCL) has been identified as the nodal agency to develop and execute the project.
