Union Minister for Railways, Communications and Electronics & Information Technology, Government of India, Ashwini Vaishnaw and Telit Cinterion CEO Paolo Dal Pino inaugurated a new SMT Line at VVDN Technologies today. The company has set up this new and dedicated SMT line to manufacture 4G and 5G connectivity modules and data cards for Telit Cinterion – a global enabler of intelligent edge solutions.
Puneet Agarwal, CEO & Co-Founder of VVDN Technologies, said “We are honoured that Union Minister Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw and Telit Cinterion CEO Mr Paolo Dal Pino have inaugurated our new SMT line together. This planned expansion is in line with VVDN’s efforts to broaden further and deepen the Indian manufacturing ecosystem where along with the final products, VVDN will be mass manufacturing modules and data cards which finds its application in the products that goes into multifold industries such as Smart Energy, EV Charging, Smart Buildings, Telematics, Retail, etc.”
Telit Cinterion’s decision to manufacture in India will lead to the expansion of business reach and models into India and as the country’s technology industry grows, Telit Cinterion will be able to address the same using “Design and Make in India” solution.
