VerdeMobility, a unit of System level Solutions has teamed up with one of the largest operators of Sigfox, iWire Technologies, to develop the world’s first Sigfox enabled, Electric Vehicle Charging Stations. They said that VerdeMobility’s Sigfox based EV chargers can be the ideal communication technology for places with low GSM or Wi-Fi coverage like underground parking, closed commercial places.
It added that the Sigfox enabled charger comes with low consumption capability. Its connectivity solution provides the lowest energy-consumption device-to-cloud claimed the company. The company said that it also comes with low cost.

Price-competitive connectivity subscriptions
It stated, “Sigfox provides extremely price-competitive connectivity subscriptions and even more importantly, enables extremely simple and cost-efficient silicon modules. Save cost on recurring OPEX cost for communication.” It is also compatible with Bluetooth, GPS 2G/3G/4G, and Wi-Fi. By combining other connectivity solutions with Sigfox, business cases and user experience can be drastically improved.
