The expanded production capacity will help optimize the lead times of the company’s existing and new SoM product portfolio
A leading global System on Module (SoM) player, Variscite recently announced the launch of its newest production line at the company’s production facility. The added production line, stated the company, will help it to support the expected additional demand for its two newest SoMs based on Texas Instruments’ AM62x and NXP’s i.MX93.
VP-Business Development and Sales of Variscite, Ofer Austerlitz remarked, “Even during challenging years due to a global pandemic and economic uncertainty, Variscite has added new production lines to help our customers meet their own product development timelines. This additional production line not only increases our current production capacity, it also allows us to remain flexible and robust in an uncertain market environment with a mission to best support our customers.”
Established in 2003, Variscite is a worldwide leading System-on-Module developer, designer and manufacturer. The company claims to provide the broadest ARM-based SoM portfolio in the embedded market with a wide range of configuration options that cover an entire embedded product and application range.
