Defence minister Rajnath Singh said that the DefExpo 2020 which will be held next month in Lucknow, will help Uttar Pradesh become a destination for defence and aerospace manufacturing. Singh also that several companies have agreed to sign MoUs during the event.
Chief Minister Yogi Adiyanath said that UP’s policy on investment in defence manufacturing is one of the best. The 11th Defence Expo will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Lucknow on 5th February. It will conclude on 8th February.
Important destination for defence and aerospace
Singh also added that several investors come in the DefExpo 2020 to decide where to invest. He further said that because of this expo, Uttar Pradesh will become an important destination for defence and aerospace not just in India but the world.
