This step aims to supercharge the deployment of RTS’s real-time hypervisor and IoT platform, previously known as Arendar and strengthen the position of RTS products in the market while also introducing bundled hardware and software solutions for seamless digitisation of industrial brownfield environments.
Congatec, has announced a strategic move to take charge of global product sales for its subsidiary, Real-Time Systems (RTS). This development signifies a significant step in enhancing the deployment of RTS’s real-time hypervisor and IoT platform, formerly known as Arendar. To facilitate this transition, the company is harnessing the expertise of approximately 80 sales representatives and field application engineers who will play a pivotal role in promoting RTS’s cutting-edge offerings.
This move aligns with the company’s overarching strategy to streamline its sales services and leverage synergies across the group, aiming to provide customers with a more comprehensive, unified, and efficient solution. By consolidating the sales activities for all group products, including RTS offerings, the company is set to fortify its position in the market while simplifying the procurement process for its customers.
Konrad Garhammer, Managing Director of the congatec group, emphasized the benefits of this integration, stating, “By bringing together the sales of all congatec group products, we not only strengthen the position of RTS products but also provide our customers with a more comprehensive choice from a single source. In addition, RTS will be able to integrate its innovative consolidation and digitization offerings into customer’s hardware platforms more easily and cost-effectively.” This strategic realignment also paves the way for introducing bundled hardware and software solutions from the group. These holistic solutions simplify the digitisation of industrial brownfield environments, offering customers a seamless integration of cutting-edge technology into their existing hardware infrastructure.
Daniel Jürgens, Managing Director of the congatec group, highlighted the advantages of this united sales approach, stating, “As a result of this stewardship of sales, we extend our high-performance ecosystem offerings. One contact person, shorter paths, faster and smoother development, and strengthened project management are some advantages of combining sales activities.”
This change in the sales structure will not impact Real-Time Systems’ services or operational structure. Furthermore, it will not affect the existing sales strategy for RTS products. All existing customers and target groups, including other hardware vendors, will continue to receive active support and engagement. In conclusion, the company’s consolidation of global product sales for Real-Time Systems represents a strategic maneuver to bolster the deployment of real-time hypervisor and IoT platform solutions while streamlining the customer experience through a unified sales approach. This initiative reaffirms company’s commitment to innovation, efficiency, and customer satisfaction in the rapidly evolving field of embedded and edge computing technology.
