Ujaas Energy Ltd said it received a contract for manufacturing and installing a rooftop grid connected solar PV system of 158 kilo watts from the Airports Authority of India.
The said contract is about to be implemented at VSI airport, Port Blair, Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
Ujaas Energy Ltd was established in Indore in 1979, under the proprietorship named “M and B Switchgears”.
The company during its initial years was involved in manufacturing of transformers and panel meters for energy controlling.
Ujaas Energy was the first company to install a solar power plant under Renewable Energy Certificate (REC) mechanism in March 2012.
The company is today engaged in manufacturing and distribution transformers, power transformers, furnace transformers and special purpose transformers for more than 3 decades.
It sells their products to various State electricity boards, public sector undertakings, private sector companies engaged in Generation and Distribution of Electricity and other Industrial undertakings.
