UBON’s new solar power bank has safety features, such as overvoltage protection, dual safety circuits and over temperature protection.
India’s Consumer Electronics brand UBON has launched SL-6067, its first solar power bank in India. The new product is aimed mainly at hikers and campers, who can now charge their mobile phones while out in the sun without the requirement of power socket.
Mandeep Arora, Co-founder, UBON, said that the gadget accessory maker has lined up a series of new high capacity solar power banks for the power banks market in India.

Priced at Rs 1,299, SL-6067 is equipped with a compact solar panel, which could recharge the battery under the sunlight.
UBON claims a solar panel conversion rate of 18-20 per cent. It has a built-in 6000 mAh high capacity lithium battery and a single output port. It also has an attached wire with a V8 socket and a USB dock. It provides an output at around 10W and has a plastic body with aluminium shells with a micro USB input port for charging the power bank.
The power bank has included safety features such as overvoltage protection, flame retardant case, dual safety circuits, over temperature protection, overcharge and discharge protection. A blue charging indicator light shows how much battery is left in the power bank.
UBON’ solar power bank comes in white and black colours, and is available in all the leading stores and e-commerce websites in India with a 1-year warranty.
