April 24, 2015: CommunicAsia2015 and EnterpriseIT2015, Asia’s pioneering ICT industry event is set to scale new heights as the event gets ready to provide international audiences with an impressive showcase of the latest technologies and solutions that will empower hyper-connected consumers, enterprises, governments and cities.
In its latest edition, CommunicAsia and EnterpriseIT will be one of the largest converging points in Asia for business and technology leaders from India and around the world, to embark on an experiential journey to witness how mega trends such as Internet of Things (IoT), mobility, cloud, social, over the top (OTT) and big data among many others come into play.
Indian ICT On A Progressive Path
As per the report by PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), Indian subscribers will adopt 4G wholeheartedly to satiate their need for mobile data, and it is expected that subscriber numbers will reach 10 million to 15 million by December 2015. India will also see a significant spurt in Wi-Fi hotspots driven by both the Government’s ‘Smart Cities’ and ‘Digital India’ program as well as private sector initiatives1.
An Indian delegation of companies will be joining CommunicAsia2015 and EntepriseIT2015 to showcase some of India’s greatest capabilities towards ICT innovation. Led by the Telecom Equipment & Services Export Promotion Council (TEPC), the Indian pavilion will be expecting about 20 companies with Dura-Line, Exset Services, Infinite Convergence Solutions, JMA Wireless and Tata Communications rounding out the group of independent exhibitors.
Speaking at a pre-event press conference held today in New Delhi, R.K. Pathak, Secretary for Telecom Equipment & Services Export Promotion Council (TEPC), co-ordinator of the Indian pavilion at CommunicAsia2015 says, “This year we have a great mix of hardware and software companies featuring solutions for broadband, cloud, IoT, OTT and mobile applications among many others, and this event is a great opportunity for us to showcase our expertise in technology and innovation to the world. India is renowned for being a global ICT powerhouse and CommunicAsia is the top trade industry event in the region where we can share, exchange knowledge and best practices with some of the leading thought leaders of the ICT world.”
Also present at the press conference was Shailendra Bansal, Managing Director at Embarc Information Technology, who is exhibiting as part of the Indian Pavilion. He says, “CommunicAsia is a huge platform for Embarc to showcase new products and solutions and we are proud to be a part of the Indian contingent. This year we will be launching the fifth version of Find’n’Secure, a complete state-of-the-art in-house solution for all tracking and fleet management requirements. It will be a one-stop solution for Embarc to further establish itself and to take its products to visitors from all over the world,”
