J Sathyanarayana, DeitY Secy, to retire in April

January, Monday 20, 2014: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has extended the tenure of J Sathyanarayana as Secretary in the Department of Electronics and Information Technology beyond March 13 to April 30, the date of his superannuation. A member of Indian Administrative Service from 1977 Batch and AP Cadre, J Satyanarayana has been Special Chief Secretary in the state of Andhra Pradesh. During his various assignments in Andhra Pradesh, he has served as Principal Secretary Health, Medical & Family Welfare Department, Principal Secretary IT and Communications and CEO of National Institute for Smart Government.
