Running hand in hand with Government of India’s vision of electric mobility, Tata Power have installed first electric vehicle charging station in Mumbai. The company has squared one on areas where electric car users wish to have outlets and the Tata Power have added two charging stations at Palladium Mall, Lower Parel and Phoenix Market City, Kurla.
The company confirmed two more charging facility coming up in BKC and Western Express Highway in Borivali. Tata Group is indeed betting big on electric mobility in India with Tata Motors winning the EESL tender to make electric cars and now Tata Power setting up charging infrastructure.The setting up of vehicle charging infrastructure at malls seems to be a good idea as it would enable users to make best use of their time while their car charges.

The newly installed chargers at the Palladium and Phoenix market cuty will enable electric car users to charge their car at any time safely. The chargers can also monitor the car battery charging status and units consumed while charging a car. The company plans to set up charging stations at various locations in Mumbai and currently, is in discussions with various stakeholders about the same, reported The Financial Express.
