Targus has introduced a new Universal Type C docking station in India. This introduction marks the company’s second such innovation into the technology world following the release of the first universal dual video docking station in October 2016. The announcement of the new docking station, which will soon be available at all leading retail markets and e-commerce portals of India, is thought to be another advancement in technological inventions by Targus.
Universally compatible with prominent operating systems
This new docking station is universally compatible with many popular Operating Systems (OS) such as Windows, macOS, Android, Linux and Chrome OS. It is equipped with features such as Power Pass-Through and USB-C travel dock that allows you to easily connect your laptop or a monitor to a wireless keyboard or mouse. Also, the docking station can be used in the transmission of power from the power adapter to the host computer.
Enhances conference room experience
By using Targus’s Universal Type C docking station, you can increase the productivity of your laptop by turning the same into a workstation. This can be achieved by plugging in peripherals into the two USB-A ports or by connecting to conference room displays while setting up for a big presentation.
The docking station has 2 USB-A ports that function with peripherals, 1 Gigabit Ethernet, 3.5 mm mini stereo jack and the power delivery can be expanded till 60W.

The docking station is designed in a travel-friendly way. It comes with a pro-cable management where you can simply place the cable into its assigned slot without any worry of it getting tangled or causing a mess in your bag. Also, is is equipped with a USB-C DisplayPort and Alt-Mode host connection (compatible with Thunderbolt). These connectivity ports are packed into a compact dock, allowing easy transportation.
