Suzlon Group has won an 81.9 MW wind energy project from Oyster Green Hybrid One Pvt Ltd. It involves the installation of turbines in Agar, Madhya Pradesh for sustainable energy solutions.
Indian company Suzlon secured an 81.9 MW wind energy project from Oyster Green Hybrid One Pvt Ltd last week. The Pune-based company will oversee the installation of 26 3.15 MW wind turbine generators in Agar, Madhya Pradesh. However, no financial investment has been disclosed in the company’s official statement.
Under the agreement, Suzlon will provide the wind turbines, and manage project execution, including installation and activation. All the turbines are equipped with a Hybrid Lattice Tubular (HLT) tower, as claimed. Additionally, the company will handle ongoing maintenance services after commissioning. Suzlon’s turbines utilise the Doubly Fed Induction Generator (DFIG) technology, which connects wind turbines to the power grid to meet its demands.
Vivek Srivastava, CEO of Suzlon Group’s India Business, highlighted Suzlon’s commitment to delivering renewable energy to the commercial and industrial sectors in India. Emphasising the “Make in India” initiative, he reiterated Suzlon’s mission to continuously reduce the cost of green energy, making it accessible to all.
Ateesh Samant, COO of Oyster Green Hybrid One Private Limited, said, they are increasing their green power portfolio through Wind and Wind-Solar Hybrid projects. Suzlon’s technological expertise and manufacturing capabilities will help them to serve the mutual customers.
