Tuesday, January 07, 2014: Considering the hazardous task of installing solar panels, the head of the Sullivan Solar Power organisation is allowing its employees to use technically modified Google Glass. In order to install solar power, an installer needs knowledge of building plans and roof specifications. FO that, they have to carry around large document collections. This can be very risky as well as cumbersome when you are on a roof or climbing up to one.
Google Glass allows them to work hands free without the need to carry heavy laptops to access the data and records. By wearing these glasses, they can smoothly get to know about the required records and information to install their solar panels.
If required, the installing personnel can even call his office by using this hi-tech power glass. Besides, it also allows them to monitor work of a new installer by using the video recording system. The Sullivan Solar Power believes that after using these Google glasses, the installers can work more confidently and safely by balancing and handling various documents at a time.
