Bengaluru-based consumer electronics startup Indkal Technologies, has raised $36 million in a funding round led by the Mauritius-based Aries Opportunities Fund. This substantial infusion of capital will support product development infrastructure of air conditioners, televisions, washing machines, and refrigerators through a new R&D facility.
Additionally, Indkal will also utilise the funds to expand on distribution and service to set up service network bases.
Anand Dubey, CEO of Indkal Technologies, shared the company’s vision and strategic plans. Following this crucial funding round, the funding will also support establishing robust support functions and aggressive distribution and service infrastructure expansion. This move aims to sustain the company’s rapid growth trajectory and ensure seamless customer service.
Indkal is a trademark licensing company that manufactures consumer electronics and large appliances for global brands like Acer and Black & Decker. The firm designs, manufactures, sells, and services products like air conditioners, refrigerators, and washing machines.
