The offline PG Program in Embedded Software Development & Validation for EV Applications has been announced by Skill-Lync in partnership with Cyient at the start-up’s Chennai skill centre. The online course is now being replicated offline, by Skill-Lync.
The curriculum of the course focuses on development, testing & validation, with a duration of six months. Apart from flexible courses and availability of onsite subject matter experts, every student also gets a hardware kit for a hands-on experience.
This course has been certified by the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) as Skill-Lync provides unlimited access to courses and software for the offline version. Cyient will be one of the hiring clients, for students who in this course will work on numerous industry-oriented projects thus building a great portfolio in embedded electronics.
Surya Narayanan PaneerSelvam, Co-Founder of Skill-Lync, said, “We received an exemplary demand from students to launch our programs offline. We wanted the course to be highly beneficial to students in terms of learning tech skills and hands-on experience with relevant hardware and software. We partnered with Cyient, who is planning to hire 500+ embedded engineers and has also co-developed the course. While rapid adoption of online learning will continue, offline programmes will enhance learning and solve real-time queries in-person through interaction and project work.”
Previous courses such as Embedded Systems Development and Validation by Skill-Lync, bridged the skill gap and reduced training costs for Cyient. It also provided 500 Embedded trained professionals to Cyient. Additionally, it established itself as a credible partner for organisations looking at building an upskilled talent pool and providing job offers to engineering students after completing the course.
