Monday, September 15, 2014: Pune-based manufacturer of products for renewable energy sector, Shree Sai Non Conventional Energy Pvt Ltd has made an investment of Rs 100 million to set up a manufacturing plant at Chakan.
The new set up will offer solar energy products for the different market segment like, agriculture, hospitality, security and infrastructure. The product range will include water pumps for irrigation, fans, cookers, power packs to be used as power backup source, home lighting, water heaters, street lights and cookers lanterns. SSNCEPL will initially concentrate on delivering products to the rural markets and will also supply its products to general renewable energy sector in India.
SNCEPL chairman, SL Shrivastav informed that the company has set up sales offices in Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab and Haryana and even hopes to enter the southern region in the coming years. He believes that the company will make a turnover of Rs 1,000 million by 2019.
