Shakti Pumps India, a producer of energy-saving pumps and motors, has been granted a patent for their invention of a “Stack Assembly for Permanent Magnet Rotor.”
The Government of India’s Patent Office has recognized and awarded a patent to Shakti Pumps, ensuring full compliance with the stipulations outlined in the Patents Act of 1970.
This particular patent is slated to remain valid for a period of 20 years. It’s noteworthy that Shakti Pumps has been proactive in filing a total of 25 patent applications that cover both national and international territories.
Speaking on this notable accomplishment, Dinesh Patidar, the Chairman of Shakti Pumps, expressed his enthusiasm. He highlighted that their pioneering Electric Vehicle (EV) motor technology promises to enhance efficiency and extend the driving range of EVs. He feels that this technological breakthrough boosts both load-bearing capacity and torque by minimizing energy losses, optimizing power factors, and ensuring cooler operational temperatures. He further highlighted that such advancements make electric vehicles more feasible and enduring, even under demanding scenarios such as navigating steep landscapes or carrying heavy weights. In the end, he said that, ultimately, this innovation marks a considerable stride towards diminishing our dependence on non-renewable energy sources.
