Mswipe Technologies Pvt Ltd, India’s independent POS merchant acquirer and network provider, announced that it has enabled Samsung Pay at all its terminals. Samsung Pay is Samsung Electronics’ flagship mobile payments service that launched in India on March 22, 2017. The partnership will enable ‘contact less / tap and pay on the go’ facility for Samsung Pay users across all 2 lac Mswipe terminals in the country.
With this, users can make a safe and secure tap on go/contact less payments at overall merchant locations who accept digital payments via Mswipe terminals and acceptance platform. To make payments, Samsung Pay customers need to choose their preferred debit/credit card when accessing Samsung Pay, scan their fingerprint and tap their device on an Mswipe terminal to complete a purchase.
Manish Patel, Founder, and CEO, Mswipe commented that payment technology is evolving rapidly and Samsung Pay is a great example of how innovation will continue to make digital payment more convenient and desirable for customers.
Sanjay Razdan, Director – Product Planning – Samsung India Electronics notified Samsung Pay has been designed to be the smartest and most convenient method to make digital payments today.
He further mentioned that this tie-up will enable Samsung to make Samsung Pay ubiquitous and acceptable at even the smallest and remotest of merchants across the country.
