Tuesday, December 09, 2014: Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd has appointed Rajiv Mishra as head of corporate social responsibility division in India, adding to his current role of vice president of internal and external communications.
Samsung’s CSR programmes are aimed precisely at the education, culture, sports, social welfare and community development for the company.
Under the CSR initiatives of the company, Samsung has already placed its hands on projects like Guru Shiksha programme, Samsung Smart School, Samsung Technical Schools, Nanum’ village project and MSME-Samsung Technical Schools.
Rajiv Mishra joined the company back in August 2014. Prior to this he has worked as a chief executive officer of Lok Sabha TV and within the span of 22 years, he has held many key positions. He was the nominated member of various media advisory bodies in different ministries of Government of India.
