The first Royal Enfield motorcycle to be equipped with cornering ABS and a traction control system.
Royal Enfield has recently introduced the much-anticipated Flying Flea C6, marking its debut in the electric motorcycle market and establishing India’s first entry in this category. The Flying Flea C6 is designed primarily as a city bike, although it is also capable of occasional rides outside urban areas. Despite this versatility, it is important to note that it is not intended for long-distance touring. The development of the Flying Flea was entirely conducted in-house, resulting in several patents filed under its name, which also serves as the brand for Royal Enfield’s range of electric motorcycles.
Constructed with an aluminium frame, the Flying Flea C6 features a magnesium battery casing nestled within, enhancing cooling and reducing weight. It boasts a circular full TFT screen display that provides extensive ride data and can be synced with a smartphone via Bluetooth. This model stands out as the first Royal Enfield motorcycle equipped with both a traction control system and cornering ABS, integrating advanced safety technologies previously unavailable in their lineup.
As for its technical specifications, Royal Enfield has yet to disclose performance metrics, battery capacity, or details about the electric motor, though these are expected to be announced soon. The company plans to launch the Flying Flea C6 in 2026, at which time bookings will open. Currently, there is limited information regarding its pricing.
