- Resonac shared a plan to make new semiconductor materials for 6G
- PolymRize speeds up the work towards target materials
With an agenda to revolutionise 6G technology, Matmerize and Resonac Corporation have signed a collaboration agreement. Matmerize’s PolymRize™ AI software technology to accelerate the development of exceptional high-performance neat and composite materials for Resonac’s 6G technology.
PolymRize™ provides support to Matmerize’s proprietary data or client-specific data to construct predictive models. This model’s work is to frequently predict the properties of novel, yet-to-be-synthesized polymers, composites, and formulations, complete with their associated uncertainties. PolymRize speeds up the work towards target materials, drastically reducing time and costs. Moreover, it introduces a framework for data management and organisation and has emerged as a dependable digital aide for chemists and process engineers.
The pilot initiative conducted by Resonac evaluated Matmerize’s capabilities in the context of 6G technology. The evaluation involved the construction of predictive models using Matmerize’s PolymRize™ technology, as well as third-party software. These models were designed to predict fundamental material properties relevant to 6G technology, including bandgap, dielectric constant, refractive index, glass transition temperature, and linear expansion coefficient.
In January this year, Resonac shared a plan to make new semiconductor materials for 6G. 6G has to be the faster networking technology than 5G. To fulfill this requirement, will identify optimal materials with the required characteristics through computational and Artificial Intelligence (AI) methods in a collaborative venture with Matmerize, Inc.
