According to a recent report by Saur Energy, the Rajasthan Electronics and Instruments Limited (REIL) has invited bids from parties for implementation of 50 MW grid-connected rooftop and small solar power plants programme for government buildings in different states of India under Renewable Energy Service Company (RESCO) model.

The selected bidders will have to complete the work of the project within seven months. The work includes the site survey, design, manufacture, supply, erection, testing and commissioning along with associated power evacuation and transmission system.
In order to become eligible for the bid, the annual average turn over of the bidders should be 2 crores per MW in the last three financial years.
The last date to submit the bid is November 4, 2019. All bidders will have to submit an Earnest Money Deposit of Rs 9.6 lakh per MW of their bid capacities.
The maximum allowable levelised tariff for this tender over 25 years including taxes and duties will be 4.65/kWh for sites falling under general category States and 5.10/kWh for sites falling under special category states reported the news daily.
