- Kaynes Technology recently announced its move to establish an Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly and Testing (OSAT) and compound semiconductor manufacturing facility in Telangana.
Raghu Panicker, Vice President of Business Strategy at Kaynes Technology India is now also the CEO of Kaynes SemiCon. He announced the same on one of his social media accounts.
“As CEO of Kaynes SemiCon, my responsibility is to set up and run the OSAT/ATMP plant and manage business,” read Panicker’s post.
Notably, Kaynes Technology has recently announced its move to establish an Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly and Testing (OSAT) and compound semiconductor manufacturing facility in Telangana. The company had earlier said that it would invest close to 2,800 crore for the same.

Planned to be established in Kongara Kalan, alongside Foxconn and Corning units, this OSAT will cover an area of 40 acres. It is estimated that the unit will start operations within a span of 12 to 18 months from now, and will create employment for 2,000 professionals.
The company, during the second half of 2022, had received capital market regulatory, Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI)s nod to raise funds through initial public offering (IPO).
