According to a report by Reuters, Qualcomm has said that it is working with Reliance Jio, Flipkart and Amazon India to build new use cases for 5G. It also said that markets like India need to put conditions in place for faster deployment of 5G services.
Alex Katouzian, senior vice-president and general manager of the mobile business at Qualcomm Technologies said that India could be instrumental in building new use cases for 5G. He added that the company works with Reliance Jio for its services and it is involved with the company actively to build 5G use cases.
No technological reason for not to deploy 5G
He also told reporters at Qualcomm’s annual Snapdragon Summit that the company will work with Flipkart and Amazon India for 5G. Cristiano Amon, president of Qualcomm Inc said that there is no technological reason for not to deploy 5G.
