Thursday, October 10, 2013: Proton Power Systems has reportedly announced the launch of a new product for solar battery storage systems. The product has been launched by its subsidiary, SPower.
The first model among the solar battery storage systems, SPBS3000, is a small battery storage system that is connected with a solar module system. It allows storage of the solar power during the day and provides energy at night.
Commenting on the launch, John Wall, chairman of Proton said, “This product solves an acute problem for existing and future solar systems where power is generated during the day and sold to the grid at a discounted rate and then has to be purchased back from the grid in the evening at full commercial rates.”
“We are excited about this product line and look forward to seeing rapid sales growth for SPower. The market needs solar storage systems and we can now supply them. More power ratings will follow soon,” Wall added.
