Porsche is broadening its hybrid offerings with the new Cayenne S E-Hybrid, the third plug-in model in the SUV series. This model showcases a blend of driving dynamics, comfort, and efficiency. Customers can now place orders, and deliveries will begin in November 2023.
Situated between the Cayenne E-Hybrid and the Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid, the S E-Hybrid is the series’ third electrified variant. It promises a blend of daily utility and performance and is available in both SUV and SUV Coupé designs. The updated hybrid technology boosts the electric range and reduces charging times.
The S E-Hybrid marries a three-litre V6 turbo engine to a 130 kW electric motor, giving an impressive output of 382 kW and a peak torque of 750 Nm. The car can sprint from 0 to 100 in just 4.7 seconds and reach speeds up to 263 km/h. Its standard adaptive air suspension, equipped with 2-chamber, 2-valve tech, elevates the driving experience. The model also supports a 90-kilometre electric-only driving range due to its 25.9 kWh battery, with rapid charging achievable in under two and a half hours.
Aesthetically, the S E-Hybrid fits perfectly within the Cayenne lineup, boasting 20-inch Cayenne S wheels and stainless steel dual tailpipes. Options include LED and HD matrix LED headlights.
Inside, the vehicle comes with eight-way seats, the Sport Chrono package, stainless steel pedals, and the Silvershade Diamar interior package. The My Porsche app enhances connectivity with features like Apple CarPlay. Additional options include a passenger display and an air quality system.
Again, orders are now accepted, and the first deliveries are set for November 2023.
