PIC GmbH has come up with its T-series of SMD reed switches in February 2011 at attractive prices compared to more expensive moulded reed switches.
Features and USP: The T-series SMD reed switches allow customers to specify the magnetic sensitivity they require and enable users to deliver complete sensor solutions. The form A (normally open) contacts are designed for use in lead free soldering processes and specified for use at up to 10W, with a maximum switching voltage of 200 VDC. The glass body is available in four lengths while solder pad grids cover the standard pitches available in competing products. This means that it is possible to replace existing components easily without having to completely redesign the circuit board.
