As a guide to Zetwerk’s expansion pursuits in the electronics and industrial sectors, Vinod Kumar Dasari joins the company’s board of directors
Zetwerk, a contract manufacturing company, has announced the addition of Vinod Kumar Dasari to its board of directors, effective July 1. He will serve as a strategic adviser as Zetwerk aims to expand into sectors such as consumer electronics, aerospace, renewables, and industrials.
Dasari brings nearly forty years of experience overseeing and expanding manufacturing firms across diverse sectors, including engineering and automotive.
As an operating partner at Advent International presently, he previously served as CEO of Royal Enfield (2019-2021) and held leadership roles at Ashok Leyland. With over 30 years in management, he has also worked at Timken and Cummins India, specialising in business development and manufacturing.
The current Zetwerk board includes Sanjiv Rangrass, former Divisional CEO of ITC Agri-Business; Prayank Swaroop, Partner at Accel; Shailesh Lakhani, Managing Director at Peak XV Partners; Vaibhav Agarwal from Lightspeed; along with Zetwerk’s co-founders Srinath Ramakkrushnan and Amrit Acharya, who is also the CEO of the company
Acharya expressed confidence that Dasari’s expertise will significantly enhance the company’s contract manufacturing capabilities.
Zetwerk operates as a managed marketplace for contract manufacturing, collaborating with industrial and consumer enterprises to produce products through a global network of small manufacturers. The company has recently collaborated with Smile Electronics to establish three IT hardware production facilities in India.
