Uno Minda has appointed Sourabh Sharma as the vice president. He will be heading the Controller Divison business unit, and is based out of Pune, India.

Previously, Sharma was working with MTA E-Mobiity as its chief marketing officer. He has also worked with Lumax World, Pako Technologies, KPIT, Luxor Writing Instruments, TI Cycles of India, Ultra Motor India, and Savi Vision, in different capacities and roles.
Notably, he has been working on electric vehicles (EVs) since 2005-06, and at that timed was one of the brains behind Ultra Motor India’s joint venture (JV) with Hero Cycles for EV product launches in india along with supply chain.
Uno Minda‘s profit after tax (PAT) for the first quarter stood at Rs 173. As per the company, this 24% growth in PAT was due to growth across product segments led by automotive lighting and alloy wheels. It had posted Rs 139 crore in PAT for the same quarter last year.
