Syrma SGS Technology Limited (Syrma SGS) has appointed Satendra Singh as its Chief Executive Officer. Based in Gurugram, Haryana, the company offers Original Design manufacturing (ODM) and Electronics manufacturing services (EMS) capabilities to Original equipment manufacturers (OEM).
Having started his professional innings with Tektronix / Ministry of IT / C – DOT as a Scientist, Singh has been associated with Samsung India, Schneider Electric, Orion Electronics Kft, Flextronics Technologies India, and Nokia.
He has led hardware delivery and manufacturing teams at some of these organisations. The news of his appointment as CEO of Syrma SGS comes at a time when India has launched a number of Production Linked Incentive Schemes (PLIs) around electronics manufacturing.
The company’s total revenue for FY23 was ₹20,921 million, up 63% YoY. Its material margins in the auto industry increased from 20.4% in FY22 to 22.1% in FY23, consumer decreased from 38.1% in FY22 to 17.1% in FY23, healthcare rose from 48.5% in FY22 to 53.9% FY23.
