Mr Yasuhito Kondo, with 28 years of experience in the areas of sales operations and business strategy, will handle the post of Deputy President
Isuzu Motors India (IMI), a subsidiary of Isuzu Motors Limited, Japan, recently announced major reshuffling and changes in the top echelons of the company. For the first time, a person of Indian origin, Mr Rajesh Mittal will take over the position of the President of Isuzu Motors India (IMI). Mr Wataru Nakano, whom Mr Mittal is succeeding as the President, is set to head the Vietnam Operations of the company.
The official release mentioned that ever since Mr Mittal joined the top management team as President of Isuzu Engineering Business Centre India (IEBCI) and as Deputy President at Isuzu Motors India (IMI) in February 2022, he focused on consolidating the business and led key projects while nurturing a culture of excellence and collaboration. Mr Mittal is a Mechanical engineer and an alumnus of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India.
It is notable that the company brought Mr Yasuhito Kondo to handle the post of Deputy President, Isuzu Motors India. He was earlier responsible for its Japanese Regional Management Office. Isuzu is betting on Mr Kondo’s rich global experience of 28 years in the areas of sales operations and business strategy. His vast experience will add to accelerating Isuzu’s growth in the domestic and export markets, read the official note.
