Reflecting on his impactful career since 1986, RK Shenoy, the Chief Technology Officer at Bosch, announced his superannuation while expressing enthusiasm for future initiatives in digital innovation and philanthropy.
RK Shenoy, Chief Technology Officer and Senior VP of Mobility Engineering at Bosch, has officially retired after nearly four decades with the company. During his tenure, Shenoy played a pivotal role in various projects at Bosch Global Software Technologies (BGSW), the technology and engineering centre of Robert Bosch GmbH.
In a LinkedIn post reflecting on his career, he expressed gratitude for the trust and opportunities afforded him since 1986, highlighting his satisfaction from fostering collaborations with educational institutions and working on CSR initiatives.
With over 35 years of expertise in developing Embedded and IoT solutions, Shenoy has contributed to diverse domains, including Mobility, Industrial, Building Technology, and Consumer Goods. He has overseen Global Engineering Centers in India, Vietnam, and China and has been instrumental in driving research and development, collaborating with startups and academic institutions.
Shenoy’s international experience includes six years in Germany, where he established partnerships across the USA, Europe, and Asia. As a member of the Nasscom ER&D Council, he has focused on bridging the talent gap in India and supporting next-generation startups through mentorship and board memberships.
An alumnus of NITK Suratkal, Shenoy has also been actively engaged in university collaborations to cultivate future talent.
Looking ahead, he stated, “Retirement, for me, is not an end but a new beginning. I am signing up with some initiatives at India level to strengthen in digital and innovation as well as philanthropy activities in healthcare area.”
