Piyush Electronics and Electricals, also known as PACT, has launched a fully automatic insulation oil tester that can provide accurate measurements of the breakdown voltage of insulating fluids used in transformers, circuit breakers, bushings and capacitors.
Features and USP: The tester is rugged, reliable, and designed with field use in mind. The unit has self explaining menu guidance for easy operation with a bright display, a built-in sensor to monitor temperature and oil stirring is done by a submersed magnetic stirrer. It supports both national (IS 6792) and other international standards, and safety interlocking on the test chamber door. The set also comes with an internal printer which helps the user to take hard copies of the results, along with mean value, standard deviation, and the date and time when the tests are performed.
