This investment aligns with Oshkosh’s commitment to harnessing advanced analytics and predictive modelling for the effective management of lithium-ion batteries in its diverse array of electric vehicles.
John Pfeifer, President and CEO of Oshkosh Corporation, emphasized that the investment in Eatron Technologies is a key component of their broader strategy to partner with cutting-edge technology firms. This collaboration aims to expedite the delivery of top-tier innovation to their customers. Pfeifer highlighted that AI-enabled battery management systems (BMS) are in line with Oshkosh’s focus on electrification and advanced analytics, promising enhanced safety and ongoing optimization of performance for their electric vehicle product range.
Eatron is at the forefront of developing more intelligent battery management technology by introducing a smart software layer over traditional battery control platforms, which can be hosted either on the cloud or at the edge.
