OORJAA, a logistics technology firm specializing in sustainable last-mile and mid-mile delivery solutions, plans to use its funding to enhance the PiE KART platform, advance its technology, and grow its team. Inflection Point Ventures (IPV) has previously invested over 190 deals, amounting to over INR 600 Cr.
OORJAA raised INR 5.35 Crore in its Pre-Series A Round 2 from key investors, including Inflection Point Ventures and Soonicorn Ventures. These funds will boost the PiE KART platform, improve tech, and expand their team. PiE KART’s new app offers sustainable intra-city delivery solutions using shared trucks, targeting SMEs.
Mitesh Shah from Inflection Point Ventures underscored the importance of the logistics sector and its current disorganization. He praised OORJAA for its innovative automation solutions addressing these issues. Sandeep Patil, OORJAA’s CEO, spoke about the company’s 5.0x growth since their first funding round and their goals following the PiE KART launch.
Operating in over 40 Indian cities with a monthly delivery volume of 22 million tonnes, OORJAA was recently named among the Top 10 Logistics Startups in 2021. Their unique technology and the PiE KART platform make them stand out in logistics.
